#LETHERINSPIREYOU campaign
BRIEF
In 2017, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority commissioned us to launch the #LETHERINSPIREYOU campaign to promote Saint Lucia as a safe and desirable vacation destination in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma and Maria. To amplify the messaging, we developed a 360-degree social media, influencer marketing, and digital strategy that reached audiences in Canada, the US, and the UK. The four-month social media campaign was a success, increasing awareness about Saint Lucia and resulting in a boost in online traffic, social media followers, and bookings in 2018. The #LETHERINSPIREYOU campaign continued to grow in 2018, consistently increasing in following, website visits, and direct traffic, with visitor arrivals climbing to an all-time high of 11% year-to-date.
STRATEGY
- Execute a 360-degree marketing strategy, including an Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter takeover
- Develop content around the island and its core pillars to attract desired audiences
- Rebrand social media pages
- Launch a sweepstakes giveaway to increase engagement
- Partner with four notable travel influencers to amplify the sweepstakes and post their own content series.
